Box Canyon is one of the best-loved rides around Wickenburg: a sandy wash that follows the Hassayampa River between tall canyon walls. Riders, families, and neighbors are meeting for a morning of trash pickup to refresh the area, and we'd love to see you there.

The Box Canyon Staging Area off Rincon Road, about 5 miles north of central Wickenburg along the Hassayampa River.
Work gloves, sun protection, plenty of water, and snacks. Closed-toe shoes are a good idea in the wash.
The BLM Hassayampa Field Office and the Wickenburg Conservation Foundation, as part of National Public Lands Day. Wikki Traxx is there to help.
Do I need a 4x4?
You don't need an off-road machine to help. Bring your own truck, side-by-side, or UTV if you have one, because Wikki Traxx doesn't provide vehicles, and hauling bags out of the canyon goes faster with more rigs.
Park at the staging area and help clear trash around the parking area. There's plenty to do right there.
The canyon itself is rough and sandy, so only four-wheel-drive rigs head in to haul out what's farther up.
Just come. Every pair of gloved hands at the staging area makes a difference.
